Pay Structure:

Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated reading specialists to provide one-on-one reading intervention services to struggling readers. Additionally, we are looking for team members who can help families navigate educational services, whether in public, private, or homeschool settings. The ideal candidate will work with students of various ages, offering both virtual and in-person support, and be part of a team committed to expanding literacy access. You will play a vital role in improving students' reading skills and creating broader support networks, with flexible work hours to accommodate both daytime and after-school sessions.
Responsibilities:

In-Person Reading Intervention Specialist

Provide reading intervention to students with a range of reading challenges, focusing on in-person sessions (minimum three days a week).

Develop individualized lesson plans and monitor student progress.

Communicate with parents, caregivers, and educators to ensure success.

Virtual Reading Intervention Specialist

Deliver virtual reading intervention services to students, with a commitment of at least three days per week.

Create personalized lesson plans and track student growth.

Maintain consistent communication with families and educators.

Dyslexia Screener
-
Administer initial dyslexia screenings for students to identify potential challenges.

Collaborate with parents and educators to discuss findings and next steps.

Page-by-Page Session Leader

Conduct 30-minute personalized book recommendation sessions for 2nd to 5th graders.

Help students discover books based on their interests and reading levels.

Diagnostic Testing Specialist

Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing for reading difficulties (requires a Master's degree).

Analyze results and provide detailed reports to families and educators.

Content Creator for Struggling Reader Support Resources
