Welcome to Reading Services of Arkansas (RSA) ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Program Model

• RSA provides structured literacy reading intervention services (not tutoring)

• Enrollment is annual (July 1 - June 30) with quarterly tuition billing

• Families choose either:

  • Four times a week sessions (recommended, higher intensity)

  • Three times a week sessions (reduced intensity option)​

2. Enrollment Agreement

• Enrollment is legally binding via Jane App digital acceptance

• No separate signed contract required

​

3. Placement & Assessment

• Placement assessment required for all new client

• $100 Non-refundable placement fee

• Reduced re-entry placement fee ($50) for returning clients within 12 months.

​

4. Instructional Authority

• RSA has final authority over:

  • curriculum​

  • placement

  • pacing

  • instructional methods

​

5. Scheduling

• Scheduling via Jane App ONLY

• Weekly time slot reserved per client

• Time slots are intended to remain stable throughout the year

​

6. Attendance & Communication

• Parent/guardian must respond within 3-5 business days to secure students time

• Scheduled time slots released after 7 days of no response

• Non-response may result in scheduling pause

​

7. Provider Consistency

• Goal: Consistent provider per student throughout program timeline

• Substitutions allowed only for emergency or unavoidable scheduling changes

​

8.  EFA Payment Policy

• 6-week grace period for EFA processing

• Families responsible for financial outstanding balance if payment is not secured by week 5

• Continued services allowed while EFA is pending to not exceed five weeks

• Families responsible for outstanding balance if EFA is denied/reduced

• Outstanding balance can lead to denial of services

• Written digital acknowledgment required at enrollment

9. Payment & Tuition

• Tuition required regardless of attendance, holidays, or closures

• Tuition remains due during breaks (calendar-based pricing model)

• Discounts are non-stackable

• Pay-in-full discounts are mostly non-refundable (rare expectations)

10. Make-up Policy

• Annual make-up allotment provided

• Sick days count towards make-ups

• Make-ups scheduled only in RSA-designated windows

• Must be used within 60 days 

• Unused make-ups roll forward within a year and can extend into re-enrollment transitions (no cash value)

11. Program Changes

• RSA may adjust curriculum/program immediately based on need

• Families will be notified

• Approval required only for communication acknowledgment

​

12. Termination

• RSA may terminate immediately for:

  • Harrassment​

  • Nonpayment

  • Policy violations

• Prepaid tuition in terminations cases is non-refundable

13. Force Majeure

No liability for:

• Natural disasters

• Pandemics

• Outages

• Facility closures

​

14. Intellectual Property

• Families may use materials at home

• Materials may be shared with schools/teachers/educators

• RSA retains ownership of original materials

​

15. Consultation Services (Add-on)

• $30 per 30-minute session

• Prepayment is required

• Additional time billed upon completion and billed due within 24 hours of service

• Non-refundable once session begins

• Includes:

  • IEP/504 review​

  • Advocacy guidance

  • Educational consultation

​

16. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
 

17. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
